Alex Wimmer, Attorney

Attorney Alex Wimmer is an associate attorney concentrating his practice on Criminal and Traffic Defense. He represents clients facing a wide range of criminal charges as well as motor vehicle and traffic-related offenses, providing strategic guidance and strong advocacy at every stage of the process. He also litigates domestic violence cases, both prosecuting and defending 50B and 50C cases. Prior to joining A.G. Linett & Associates, Alex practiced Family Law with experience in Guilford, Rockingham, Randolph, and Forsyth Counties. He also previously worked as a legal assistant in Salisbury, North Carolina, supporting attorneys on both Criminal and Family Law matters.

Alex accepts cases in Guilford County, both in the Greensboro and High Point Courts, as well as Forsyth County, Winston-Salem and Kernersville Courts. 

A lifelong North Carolinian, Alex was born in Winston-Salem and has deep ties to the communities he serves. He earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science from the University of Virginia before completing his Juris Doctor at the University of North Carolina School of Law.
